Journal Jar

 

Dear friend,

This is our journal jar.  I printed out a selection of free printable patterned paper from the Two Penny Blue free printable directory.  I cut the papers into 8th’s and folded them in fourths.  Then I put the blank ones in the smaller jar somewhat in layers.  Each week I pick a new pattern to write on and each night I make a note of something cute McGilly does or what we did that day.  On Sunday I pull my papers out for the week and type them into a word document adding a little more detail as I go.  This has really helped me to be able to remember the most important parts of the week and only having to record them one time into McGilly’s journal is a little less overwhelming.
